Who is the coach of the Hawkeyes?

As of February 2015, the head coach of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball team is Fran McCaffery. McCaffery has been the head coach since 2010 and is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.S. in Economics from Wharton and a Masters of Education from Lehigh.

Coach McCaffrey has an overall record of 325-240 in 18 seasons of coaching and a 74-63 record in his four seasons as the University of Iowa's head coach. His up-tempo style of play is a favorite among players. In 2014, McCaffrey led the Hawkeyes to their first NCAA berth in eight seasons.
