Where is Colombia located?

The country of Colombia is found between latitudes 4° south and 12° north, and between 67° and 79° longitude west. It is in the northwest corner of South America and has coasts on both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.

Panama, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru and Ecuador are the nations that border Colombia. The country has maritime limits with Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Haiti. Colombia is an equatorial nation and is home to part of the Amazon River and part of the Andes mountain range. Coffee, a big part of Colombia's economy, is grown on mountainsides.
