What does the color green represent?

The color green usually represents nature and growth, though it can also be used to represent freshness and fertility. Green is the most restful color on our eyes and may even improve vision. Thus, it can also represent clarity and healing.

Since it is a combination of the two primary colors yellow and blue, green may be used to represent hope and generosity, a combination of the two colors' traits. Darker greens can be used to represent money, finances and Wall Street. Lighter greens may take a slightly negative connotation, such as being used to represent (or describe) someone who is new at something or has a lack of experience.
