Unsafe seatbelt anchors in the 2014 GL450 increased likelihood of injury for children sitting in the second-row seat during a crash. Recall repairs offered replacement of the seatpan of the second-row seat.

The hydraulic power issue in the 2008 GL450 was the result of defective driving pins that could break and limit the steering range of the wheel. Recall repairs offered replacement of the steering gears for all qualified owners.
