What company manufactures the Tempstar furnace?

Tempstar furnaces are manufactured by Tempstar Heating and Cooling Products, which is part of International Comfort Products. The company introduced the Tempstar brand in the 1980s. As of 2015, more than 20 types of gas and oil furnaces are manufactured at facilities in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Both Tempstar and International Comfort Products are part of Carrier Corporation, which is owned by United Technology Corp. In addition to heating and air condition, United Technology Corp. manufactures elevators, escalators, aircraft engines, gas turbines and helicopters. Other products produced by the company include fire detection systems, security alarm systems and refrigeration systems.
