Does every company have a NAICS code?
By Forinfos - 22/07/2025 - 0 comments
A primary North American Industry Classification System code is assigned to every business by the U.S. Census Bureau based on the highest revenue-generating activity for the company. The six-digit code system is used by government and businesses to measure economic activity.
If a business does not know its NAICS code, it can find the code using tools available at the website for the NAICS Association or on the U.S. Census Bureau's website. A business can have more than one NAICS code if it has more than one revenue-generating activity. The NAICS Association assists in researching and constructing additional appropriate codes, adding them to the business classification profile.
