Was the Congress of Vienna successful?

The Congress of Vienna was one of the most successful undertakings of its kind. The area did not see another large-scale war for around 100 years thanks to the things accomplished at the meeting. The Congress of Vienna not only set down new terms, it completely reworked the structure and boundaries of Europe.

The Great Powers of Europe were established during this meeting, which were Britain, France, Russia, Prussia or Germany and Austria. These powers are still recognized today as "great powers" within Europe. The new arrangement of land and control ensured that no one single army could over come the other four of the great powers helping put a stop to revolutions and maintain the traditional power.
