A contract is not required to purchase food from Sysco; the food supplier only sells to businesses and requires a credit check for owners to buy Sysco goods. As of 2015, the national restaurant supplier has over 425,000 customers and distributes from 194 locations worldwide.

Restaurants, school and hospital cafeterias and the military are a few of the customers that take advantage of the food supplier's low prices and bulk orders.
