Choose the option to copy and paste from the right-click menu, or use the shortcut keys to copy and paste in fewer steps. You need an Android phone or a Windows, Mac or Linux computer to complete the process.
- Open the source document or folder
Open the document or folder that contains the text or file you would like to copy.
- Open the destination document or folder
Open the document or folder for pasting your copied text or file. Separate the source and destination windows to each side of the screen.
- Copy the text or file
If you want to copy text, highlight and right-click the text in the document. Select Copy from the pop-up menu. If you want to copy a file, right-click the file in the folder, and select Copy. Alternatively, use the shortcut keys Control-C in Windows and Linux or Command-C on a Mac. For Android, long-press the file or text, and tap the Copy icon in the header.
- Paste the text or file
In the destination document or folder, right-click a blank area, and select Paste from the pop-up menu. You can also use the shortcut keys Control-V in Windows and Linux or Command-V on a Mac. For Android, long-press an area, and select Paste.
