How do you copy and paste on iPad?

To copy and paste on an iPad, double-tap the text, drag the blue anchors to highlight the text and tap the copy option. Double-tap on a different area where you are able to add text, and select Paste from the options available to paste the text.
- Double-tap the text that you want to copy
Set the insertion point by double-tapping the screen on the text that you want to copy. A pop-up and blue anchors appear on the screen.
- Highlight the text
Hold and drag the blue anchors to highlight all the text you want to copy. Place one anchor at the beginning of the text and one where the text ends. A dialogue box appears with the options to cut, copy or paste the text.
- Choose to copy the text
Tap the Copy button to copy the text that is highlighted. The text is automatically saved.
- Paste the copied text
Go to any area where you are able to add text, and double-tap the screen to set the insertion point. A dialogue box appears with the options to cut, copy or paste the text. Select Paste, and wait one second for the copied text to appear on the screen.
