How do you copy using the keyboard?

To copy using the keyboard, highlight the text you want to copy, and press Ctrl+C. Place the cursor where you want to paste the text, and press Ctrl+V to paste.

  1. Highlight the text you wish to copy

    Place your cursor at the beginning of the text that you want to copy, hold the left mouse button down, and drag the cursor over the text to highlight it. Let go of the mouse button to stop highlighting the text.

  2. Copy the text

    Press Ctrl+C to copy the text, and let both keys go.

  3. Paste the text

    Place the cursor where you want the copied text to appear, and press Ctrl+V to paste.
