What do coral snakes eat?

Coral snakes eat other smaller snake species, as well as their own kind, frogs and lizards. Coral snakes are venomous creatures though their venom rarely causes death in humans as long as the bite victim is treated promptly with anti-venom.
If a human is not treated in a reasonable amount of time then he or she can suffer from slurred speech and double vision, which will lead to respiratory and cardiac failure. Most coral snakes do not attack humans purposefully and only attack those people who cross its path or disturb the snakes. People should be aware that the coral snake has a colorful appearance with black, red and yellow stripes and a large head.
