By Forinfos - 06/05/2026 - 0 comments
A new Chrysler Generation 3 426 Hemi engine typically costs between $15,000 and $18,000 as of 2016, with stock engines on the lower end of this range and tuned engines on the higher end. The engine block alone for these engines sells for approximately $5,000.
The 426 Hemi engine is a V-8 engine that displaces 7 liters and was used to power many of the performance-oriented SRT Chrylser, Dodge and Jeep models built during the 2000s. These engines can produce more than 500 horsepower in stock or near-stock form, but some tuners have boosted the output of 426 Hemi engines to 625 horsepower or more in race-spec motors.
