What are the costs of advertising on TV?
By Forinfos - 14/07/2025 - 0 comments
As of 2015, the cost of a television advertisement ranges from $90 to over $10 million per commercial. Commercial length, network type and time of broadcast are factors that determine the total cost of an advertisement.
Commercial segments are usually either 10, 15, 30 or 60 seconds long, and price increases with length. The greatest difference in price generally occurs between local and national network ads, with local networks ranging from $90 to $1500 per slot and national networks from $100,000 to $12 million. The most expensive commercials air during prime time and special events, such as the Super Bowl, during which a commercial has reached $12.4 million.
