In which countries are the three biggest rainforests found?

In descending order, the countries with the largest rainforests are Brazil, D. R. Congo, Indonesia, Peru, India, Mexico, Colombia, Angola and Bolivia. Of all the countries in the world, approximately 62 have some type of wet tropical forest. Most tropical rainforests are found in Asia and South America.

It should be noted, however, that there is a substantial difference in the size of the rainforests found in Brazil and D. R. Congo. Brazil boasts a rainforest that covers 1.8 million square miles, while D. R. Congo comes in a far second with rainforest areas that measure nearly 670,000 square miles.
