In which country is the Amazon River located?

The Amazon River begins at a tributary known as the Carhusanta, located in the Andes Mountains of Peru. It ends by emptying into the Atlantic Ocean. The world's largest tropical rainforest can be found in the Amazon River's watershed. This area experiences high temperatures and heavy rainfall throughout the year. As of 2015, no bridge has been built across the Amazon River.
