What does CPM represent?
By Forinfos - 09/08/2025 - 0 comments
CPM stands for cost per thousand and refers to the price for 1,000 advertising impressions on a single webpage. The "M" in CPM is derivative of the Roman numeral for 1,000.
CPM is a common term used in the marketing and advertising industries. It is a model that is purchased by an advertiser, bought on the basis of impressions, not clicks. Website owners and publishers prefer this model because they get paid, regardless of whether or not a visitor clicks on an advertisement. The price paid in a CPM deal is calculated by multiplying the CPM rate by the total number of CPM units.
