The one-year relative survival rate for people diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma is 92 percent, as of 2015, according to the American Society of Clinical Oncology. The five-year survival rate for Hodgkin lymphoma is 85 percent, and the 10-year survival rate is 80 percent.
The five-year relative survival rate for people diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma is 69 percent, notes ASCO. The 10-year relative survival rate is 59 percent.
Various factors influence survival rates, including the lymphoma subtype, explains ASCO. Since researchers compile survival rates based on accumulated data over the course of one, five or 10 years, advances in treatment of the condition can skew the results.
