Who is David Muir?

David Muir is the host of the program “ABC World News Tonight with David Muir” as well as an award-winning journalist. He has participated in numerous ABC news programs and covers both domestic and international affairs.

Muir was born in Syracuse, New York, on Nov. 8, 1973. He began his career as a reporter for the Syracuse station WTVH in 1995, then went on to work for WCVB in Boston in 2000. During this time he covered numerous events in the Middle East, earning him national recognition. In 2003, he began working for ABC. In 2014, People Magazine included him in its annual “Sexiest Men Alive” ranking.
