A Defiant digital timer allows users to set their outdoor lights to go on and off automatically at set times. The timers can also automatically control exhaust fans and heaters. Along with in-wall installation, features include various amps and programming capabilities.

There are many Defiant digital timers available, including a 16-amp back-lit model with an LCD screen. This version sets lights and other devices to go on and off at programmed times, and it is compatible with incandescent, LED and CFL light bulbs. A more basic Defiant digital timer is the 5-amp model that offers seven-day programming and a random vacation security feature.
