When was Delft Blue Holland pottery first made?

A collective of potters based in the city of Delft made the first Delft Blue pottery in Holland in 1602. Over the next two centuries, the pottery grew in popularity and spurred the development of 33 factories to meet the growing demand for the pieces.
The intricate blue-on-white designs typical of Delft Blue pottery were inspired by the delicate styling of Chinese porcelain. Although later versions of Delftware were made of porcelain, the original pottery was tin-glazed earthenware. At the height of Delft Blue's popularity, large quantities of lidded jars, pictorial plates and tiles were created in the Delft Blue style for the European market and for export.
