What denomination is the preacher Dr. David Jeremiah?

Dr. David Jeremiah was originally Baptist and is currently Evangelical, as of 2014. He is currently the pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church, which is an Evangelical church.

According to his website, Dr. David Jeremiah graduated as a Doctor of Divinity from Cedarville College in 1981. He started Blackhawk Baptist Church in Indiana in 1969. During the twelve years that he pastored that church, he started a Christian school and began the Bible Hour Television program. After that, he moved to California and took the position of senior pastor at Scott Memorial Baptist Church, which later changed its name to Shadow Mountain Community Church.
