A person can apply to be re-admitted into the U.K. after the lapse of a deportation order. While it is still in force, the foreigner is ineligible to re-enter the United Kingdom notwithstanding his visa or any other leave he may have previously obtained.
A person who is the subject of a deportation order may apply to have the order revoked so that he can remain in the U.K. However, once a deportation order has been effected, then it cannot be revoked, according to the laws of England and Wales, for the next three years except in very special circumstances.
