How do you determine what version of Windows you have?

To determine which Windows operating system you are using on your computer, access the Control Panel, click on System and Security, then view the information under System. You can find this information in less than a minute.
- Go to the Control Panel
Access the Control Panel by clicking the Windows icon on the bottom-left of the computer screen and selecting Control Panel from the right-side menu.
- Click on Systems and Security
The System and Security section contains information about the internal bits of your computer.
- Click on System
After clicking System, information is displayed about your installed memory, processor and system type. You can also see the version of Windows running on your computer.
