Where did the Arapaho Indians live?

The Arapaho Indians were somewhat nomadic, so they moved across various areas through the years, but they were primarily found in the Dakotas, Wyoming and Colorado. The tribes also had small areas in New Mexico and Kansas that they called home at the time they began to encounter European settlers.
After the Indians began to be forced onto reservations, the Arapaho territory was greatly reduced. The Arapaho were confined to areas in Oklahoma and Wyoming. These reservations were set up after several bloody altercations with the settlers that were looking for gold in the Arapaho territory. The area in Wyoming was set up after the Battle of Little Big Horn, in which some of the Arapaho took part.
