The season premiere of the fifth season of the British crime drama series "DCI Banks" originally aired in the United Kingdom on channel ITV1 on March 4, 2015, according to IMDb. The season contains six one-hour long episodes. The season's final episode aired on April 8, 2015, on ITV1.

The episodes were later available on ITV's subscription drama channel ITV Encore. The sixth season of the TV series has yet to have a release date, as of August 2015. Adapted for television by Left Bank Pictures and the ITV network, the series based on Peter Robinson's books follows the career of Detective Chief Inspector Alan Banks.
