What is Ice DPS in "DCUO"?

Ice damage per second characters in "DC Universe Online" are characters that cause damage using precision attacks and freezing enemies in ice. Ice is one of seven power sets that players choose in character creation, with each power set containing two ability trees.

Ice damage dealers typically choose abilities that improve damage multipliers to base abilities when attacking an opponent frozen in ice; however, a player that chooses to mitigate damage will choose to encase himself in ice or use abilities that slow enemies rather than freezing them solid. Precision has the highest statistical priority in ice DPS, adding damage to all basic damage attacks.
