As of March 2015, the former actress and animal rights advocate, Doris Day, is still alive and lives in the city of Carmel, California. The news that Day had passed away was a hoax that was spread on March 10, 2015, through a Facebook page called "R.I.P. Doris Day."

During her life, Doris Day was married four times, all of which ended in divorce. She gave birth to only one child, a son named Terry during her first marriage to Al Jorden. Terry passed away in 2004 due to skin cancer. Some of Doris Day's most successful films included "The Pajama Game" and "Calamity Jane."
