When did Howard Goodman pass away?

Howard Goodman passed away on Nov. 2, 2002, in Nashville, Tennessee, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Goodman was 81 years old, and his health had progressively declined in the months leading up to his death.

Howard Goodman was born in Alabama on Oct. 7, 1921. After working as an evangelist, Goodman began performing gospel music with his brothers and sisters. Along with two of his brothers and his wife, Vestal, Howard performed in the popular gospel music group The Happy Goodmans. Original members of "The Gospel Singing Jubilee" television show, the group was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 1998.
