When did Eva Braun marry Adolf Hitler?

Eva Braun married Adolf Hitler just after midnight on April 29, 1945. The ceremony occurred in the Führerbunker, the air raid shelter in which Hitler and the high Nazi officials spent the last months of the war.

The marriage ceremony was a civil service, not a religious one. Afterward, the couple had a small wedding breakfast. On the afternoon of April 30, 1945, with Russian forces closing in on their position, Hitler and his new wife committed suicide by gunshot and cyanide, respectively. Their bodies were carried to and burned in a garden behind the Reich Chancellery, which was just near the Führerbunker.
