Was Gene Autry ever married?

Known for radio, television and movies, Gene Autry was married twice during his lifetime. He was married to his first wife, Ina Mae Spivey, from 1932 until her death in 1980. He married his second wife, Jackie Autry, in 1981, and they remained married until his death in 1998.

Gene Autry, born Orvon Grover Autry, has a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in all five entertainment categories: film, television, music, radio and live performance. Though he is best known for his cowboy antics, some of his most popular musical works are the Christmas holiday songs "Here Comes Santa Claus" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
