Did the FDA recall the diet pill Alli?

GlaxoSmithKline, the manufacturer of Alli, recalled the diet pill in March 2014, reports the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. There were concerns that some packages of Alli were not securely sealed, and the original pills may have been replaced with inauthentic pills.

Alli packages that have been tampered with may look authentic, but the inner bottle may contain various tablets and capsules in multiple shapes. The tamper-evident seal on the bottle may be broken, and the lot number and expiration date on the bottle may not match the information on the exterior packaging. It is safe to continue using authentic Alli, according to the Alli website. Authentic Alli pills are turquoise blue capsules with dark blue bands and are printed with the words "60 Orlistat."
