What did the first meal on the moon consist of?

The first moon on the meal consisted of peaches, sugar cookie cubes, coffee, a pineapple grapefruit drink, and bacon squares. Astronauts ate their first meal when they landed at the Sea of Tranquility.

Although many people are surprised to learn that bacon was a staple in the diet of many astronauts, it was used on space missions dating all the way back to the first Gemini missions. However, today, bacon has been replaced on the menu by dehydrated sausage patties. Bacon remained on the menu up until 2002.

No one really knows if this meal was planned or just happened to be what the astronauts chose to eat that day.
