Gerald Crabb was born in Rosine, Kentucky. He began his ministry when he was 16, and in 1994 he founded The Crabb Family, an internationally known singing group. His first number one Southern Gospel Song of the year was in 1998 with "Please Forgive Me." As of 2014, he has written over 400 songs, including 22 that have gone on to become national number one songs.
