There is no evidence that Anna Stanley ever remarried. Anna Stanley was the wife of Charles F. Stanley, a former president of the Southern Baptist Convention and senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Anna and Charles were married for more than 40 years before separating in 1992.

Attempts at a reconciliation failed, and the couple eventually divorced in 2000. Anna Stanley passed away in November 2014 at the age of 83. Her obituary makes no mention of a husband other than Charles and indicates that she is survived by her two children, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two sisters.
