The Pueblo people lived in the Mesa Verde region of the American Southwest in what is now Arizona and New Mexico. They also lived in some parts of Utah, Colorado and Texas.
The Pueblo can be divided into several groups, namely the Tigua, Taos, Hopi, Zuni and Jimez. Unlike other Native Americans, the Pueblo were never forced to leave their original homeland; they still live there. Their homes were built of wood, stone and adobe. Crops that the Pueblo grew include sunflowers, cotton, corn, tobacco, squash and beans. Men also hunted deer, rabbit and antelope.
