When did the Queen Latifah talk show start?

The original "Queen Latifah Show" first aired Sept. 13, 1999 and ran until Aug. 31, 2001. A second revamped talk show, also titled "The Queen Latifah Show" premiered on Sept. 16, 2013.

Queen Latifah's original talk show was dubbed "Dear Abby for the Hip-Hop Generation" and featured interviews with celebrities and everyday people. The second version of the show had an expanded format and included human interest pieces, Latifah's opinion on current pop culture trends, and musical performances as well as celebrity interviews. Though the second show was given a second season, Sony Pictures Television soon cancelled it due to low ratings, and the last episode aired on March 6, 2015.
