In the first season of "Secrets and Lies," Ben Crawford becomes a prime murder suspect when he discovers the body of a young boy. Ben begins the search for the boy's real killer to exonerate himself and save his sanity and reputation. His quest unravels many hidden secrets in his small community.

The series, based on an Australian television series of the same name, was written by Stephen Irwin and developed for an American viewership by Barbie Kligman.
