Where did Shaun White go to school?

Snowboarding star Shaun White received his high school diploma from Carlsbad High School. He split time studying in school and with tutors to get the diploma.

White was earning around $5 million a year in his late teens, but he felt it was still important to get his diploma because he was a role model for younger children. "I never wanted to have to tell some kid that I just quit. That’s not cool, no matter what," he once said. The main reason he finished high school was to repay the "major sacrifices" his family made on his behalf. His family spent lots of time on the road and thousands of dollars in equipment investments, entrance fees and transportation costs to keep up with White's budding career.
