Where did Edwin Hubble go to school?

Edwin Hubble earned a bachelor's degree in 1910 and a doctorate degree in 1917, both at the University of Chicago, and went on to study law at Oxford University. Hubble was born in Missouri and moved to Wheaton, Ill. at a young age.

In 1919, Hubble started a career at the Mount Wilson Observatory, where he had access to a new 100-inch telescope. He quickly began to discover new galaxies. Hubble is the inventor of the famous Hubble Space Telescope that has allowed scientists to see farther into space than ever before. Before Hubble's discoveries, most scientists thought all the stars, nebulae and other fuzzy objects in the sky were located in the Milky Way galaxy.
