Cancer and hypothyroid cases are prominent diseases for boxer dogs. Cardiomyopathy in dogs is a heart condition that causes uneven heartbeats.
Neurological issues of the spinal cord such as degenerative myelopathy, a progressive, incurable disease in which the sheath of the spinal cord breaks down, can also occur.
Other conditions boxer dogs develop, which are commonly found in all dog breeds, include allergies and bloat, which are easily controlled with proper diet and medication.
