What are some characteristics of boxer dogs?

Boxer dogs are between medium and large with a rugged and muscular build. They don't shed often and need very minimal grooming. Their weight is on the heavier side.

The boxer's personality is happy and playful. They enjoy physical play like running, jumping and catching balls. Boxers are friendly dogs, although to strangers they may look intimidating.

Boxers need good training from the time they are puppies. They are not aggressive, but can get overly physical when a dog owner doesn't ask for it. Boxers are cuddly, despite their large size. Boxer dogs are good hunters and will bring in small critters.
