Do doctors still take the Hippocratic Oath?

NOVA explains that most graduating medical students still take some form of oath before they practice. However, what the oath looks like today is vastly different from the original Greek form of the Hippocratic Oath.
While the Hippocratic Oath looks considerably different today than it did decades ago, NOVA explains that it is practiced far more widely. In fact, while only 24 percent of medical schools administered the oath in 1928, nearly all medical schools do so today. The National Institute of Health explains that a major difference between the modern and original oaths is that the religious references in the original have been removed.
