How do you draw a cartoon pumpkin?

According to How to Draw Cartoons Online, drawing a cartoon pumpkin is based on only a circle and a center line. The completed pumpkin can be converted into a Jack-O-Lantern by drawing different faces on it. This process should take no more than 10 minutes.

1. Prep your pumpkin drawing

   Draw one line down the center of the page. Use this line to draw a symmetrical circle. This circle is the base of your pumpkin.

2. Begin sketching the pumpkin

   Draw a downward-facing arc slightly below top of the circle and an upward-facing arc slightly above the bottom. This is the top and bottom of your pumpkin.

3. Finish drawing the top and bottom of the pumpkin

   At the top of the pumpkin, draw two more arcs that connect the first arc to both sides of the circle. Repeat this step with the arc at the bottom of the circle.

4. Complete the outline of the pumpkin

   Connect the arc at the top of the circle with the arcs at the bottom of the circle. This completes the form of your pumpkin.

5. Draw the stem of the pumpkin

   At the top of the pumpkin, draw the stem.

6. Add detail and color

   Draw four vertical lines going down the pumpkin to give it some detail. Finish off the pumpkin by adding orange color to the pumpkin and green color to the stem.
