What is a ductless heat pump?
By Forinfos - 29/12/2025 - 0 comments
Ductless heat pumps, also called mini-splits, are used to pump air into a home without the use of a duct system. They can be used for both heating and cooling.
Ductless heat pumps have both outdoor and indoor components. The components are connected by a conduit that usually requires only a 3-inch hole through a wall. Indoor air-handling units are placed in individual rooms or zones of a home and are controlled through the unit itself or with a remote control. Ductless pumps are often used for homes that were built without a duct system. They are also used for additions to homes that are not connected to an existing duct system.
