During what time of year is the Carlsbad Village Faire in California held?

As of 2015, the Carlsbad, California, street fair occurs bi-annually in May and November. The fair, which began in 1975, draws up to 100,000 people each season and features over 900 vendors selling food, art and wares. In both spring and autumn, the fair lasts one day.

Officially called the Carlsbad Village Faire, the event takes place on Grand Avenue between Carlsbad Boulevard and Jefferson Street. It is hosted by the town's chamber of commerce and includes a children's area, a beer and wine garden, an international food court and family friendly entertainment. Carlsbad bills it as the largest single-day street fair in the United States.
