Where is Eastport, Maine?

Eastport is a small American city consisting entirely of islands in Washington County, Maine. Eastport is notable for being the easternmost city in the United States, located in the Atlantic Ocean on Maine's eastern border with Canada.

Eastport is mainly located on the southeastern part of Moose Island, an island between Cobscook Bay to the west and Passamaquoddy Bay to the east. The city faces Deer Island to the northeast and Campobello Island to the southeast, both of which are Canadian islands.

The city of Eastport has a total area of 12.34 square miles; 3.63 square miles of that area is land and 8.71 square miles is water.
