What eats a great white shark?

The great white shark is an apex predator, and as such, healthy adults of the species have no natural predators. Only one real threat faces the great white shark: humans that accidentally catch them, illegally poach them, pollute the waters they live in or lay nets along coastlines that may entrap them.

Acutely developed senses help the great white shark ensure its status as an apex predator. These include refined hearing, touch, smell, sight and taste. Sharks also have electroreception capabilities that allow them to sense electrical fields. This ability lets them navigate through the ocean with ease, using the magnetic fields in the crust of the earth.
