What kind of housing is available at Cal-Poly?

Cal-Poly, formally known as California Polytechnic State University, has on-campus residence halls with double and triple rooms as well as apartments with private and shared bedrooms. Located in San Louis Obispo, Calif., the university also has housing at its farms and ranches for students who work at those facilities.

Cal-Poly housing space is limited and is therefore only open to students carrying a full course load.

The similarly named Cal-Poly Pomona is located in Pomona, Calif. It was founded in 1938 after a school, farm and ranch were donated. It was initially a Cal-Poly satellite campus, but the two schools separated in 1966.
