Who is Edyta Sliwinska?

Edyta Sliwinska is a professional ballroom dancer who appeared on the first 10 seasons of "Dancing with the Stars." Her professional ballroom dance partner and husband is Alec Mazo. As of 2015, they run the Los Angeles and San Francisco locations of Genesis DanceSport dance studio.

Sliwinska, born in Poland, moved to the United States in 2000 to begin her partnership with Mazo. Sliwinska appeared on "Dancing with the Stars" from 2005 to 2010. Her dance partners on the show included Joey Lawrence, John Ratzenberger, Cameron Mathison and Evander Holyfield. Her highest placement on the show was in season six, when she come in second place with Jason Taylor.
